http://www.cercil.frCercil is the center of study and research on the internment camps of Beaune-la-Rolande, Pithiviers and Jargeau and the Jewish deportation, also Museum-Memorial of the children of the Vel' d'Hiv'. This place includes a museographic route which presents the history of the internees in camps during the Second World War resting on archives, objects and photos. In the court, we find a fragment of shed of the camp of Beaune-la-Rolande classified as Historic Monument, then, a room with temporary exhibitions. A center of resources where we can consult more than 4 000 documents and view testimonies is in free access. Cercil - Museum-Memorial of the children of the Vel' d'Hiv' proposes every week a cultural programming diversified in free access: Tuesdays of Cercil at 6 pm. Visits of the former camps are also organized.
