Hexagon plan of the original fortress from the 12th served base over the years, to a juxtaposition of round and square towers restricting a suite of wings of styles and different eras. The image of its architecture, the visit of 14 rooms furnished (from the kitchen to the frames) presents a stately character. Bequeathed to the town in 1987 by Anne of Ranst de Berchem, the castle is managed by the Association of friends of Château de Saint-Brisson in delegation of public service. The Castle presents regular exhibitions in its Gallery of art while in the moat, impressive war machines, perfect medieval replicas, are running for demonstrations of fire with Gunners.
