THE HAPPINESS OF A DAY IN FAMILY AT DOMAINE DE CHANTELOUPAt 2 hours from Paris, in the heart of the Loire castles, on the territory classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Chanteloup Pagoda is a unique monument of the eighteenth century which still testifies today the splendor of a palace disappeared in 1823: the residence of the Duke of Chisel, Prime minister of the King Louis XV. Visit of the Pagoda and its Park: Unusual monument offering a panoramic view 44m high on the Amboise forest and the Loire Valley, chinese style Louis XVI style, the Pagode in a half-moon piece of water in the heart of a park 14 ha. Small Museum: Former Pagoda Concierge Pavilion converted into a Iconographic Small Museum containing the portraits of the historical figures of the estate and a 3D virtual tour of the Castle and the gardens during the time of the Duke of Choiseul. Chinese Garden: Small Chinese garden with oriental essences and chinese invitations to meditation. Old wooden games: Large variety of old wooden games for adults and children, in the tradition of games so much appreciated and practiced by the society of the eighteenth century in the gardens of Chanteloup. Boat trips: For a better contemplation of the monument and its reflection in the large room of water, come enjoy a stroll in barque with friends or in family (hiring 5 € of the hour throughout the season). The Little Baskets of Chanteloup: Available at the Tea Room from May to September, the Chanteloup picnic baskets are made up of regional products, Touraine rillettes and goat cheese from Saint-Maure-de-Touraine, accompanied by our selection of Touraine- Amboise (AOC) of the vineyards of Chanteloup.
